This year, Roussillon Wines welcomed Joe Czerwinski, for whom it was the first year as head-taster in charge of Roussillon for Wine Advocate. Previously, Mr. Czerwinski had worked for 15 years at Wine Enthusiast.

Roussillon, once again, has passed with flying colours, as 84% of the ratings are above or equal to 90/100. It is important to note that Vins Doux Naturels, the most treasured wines of Roussillon, are not counted in this average, as they will be graded in the future.
Robert Parker’s ratings have brought forward new domaines (Domaine Augustin , Domaine du Bac, Domaine Deprade Jorda), complementing itself with the standard of excellence put in place by well-known Roussillon vineyards (Domaine Lafage, le Domaine de l’Edre, le domaine Thunevin Calvet…).
These high ratings were not only awarded to new and well-established domaines, but highlighted the level of quality existing in all sectors of Roussillon.
